Living Clean and Lean in 2013!

Today starts my "Living Clean & Lean in 2013!" I am really excited about this new journey. I have all of my measurements done and meals planned! I am ready to lose this weight! During the 30 day Program, I will be giving up a lot, but also adding a lot. I have to look at this as a life change for not only me, but for my family too. I want my children to be eating healthy and also my husband to stop eating greasy ass burgers! He might be rail thin, but I am sure his BP is sky high. It's time for a healthy change!

I will be giving up:
· Dairy
· Wheat, Rye, Barley
· Gluten
· Peanut Butter
· White rice, pasta, white potatoes
· Basically ALL breads
· Alcohol
· Nitrates
· MSG
· Artificial sweeteners
· Soy (except for edamame & organic tofu)
· Vinegar
· Coffee
· Sodas & diet sodas
· Table sugar, honey, syrups & artificial
sweeteners
· Pork
· Non-organic chicken or beef
· Farm raised fish
· Corn
· Mints and gum
AVOID: (for weight loss)
· Bananas, melons, grapes, pineapple,
watermelon (except in post workout shake)
· Dried fruits

I will be adding:
· Rice, Almond & coconut milk
(unsweetened)
· Brown rice
· Brown rice cakes
· Brown rice tortillas (in moderation)
· Brown rice pasta
· Quinoa and quinoa pasta
· Rice & Shine oatmeal from Whole Foods
· Green tea
· Fizz tablets
· Water with lemon
· Stevia OR Xylitol
· Agave nectar
· Non starchy vegetables
· Sweet potatoes, yams, turnips
· Avocado
· Olive oil, coconut oil, flaxseed oil, walnut oil
· Berries
· Green apples
· Cage Free eggs
· Free-range chicken & turkey
· Grass-fed beef
· Almond butter & sunflower seed butter
· Legumes
· Raw almonds

I will also be using Arbonne Products to help with my healthy weight loss. I have my workouts planned and am so ready for this new year! I never really knew how much allergens and toxic ingredients were in food until I started to really read them all. No wonder my kids fly off the hinges after eating mac & cheese. These products are filled with toxins that I never knew existed. I also want to lose this weight for my Surrogacy Journey! I want to be extra healthy for my family!

New Diets..

After coming back from my appt in L.A. I was told that I needed to lose 30lbs.. My bmi was too high to start anything for the Surrogacy stuff. So everything is put on hold until I can lose the weight.

I started the Atkins Diet Plan on Friday, November 30th and have worked really hard to stay on top of everything I have been eating. My first Weekly Weigh In, I had lost 10.5lbs!! That is just from cutting out majority of my carbs, sugars and fruits. For those of you who are not familiar with the Atkins Diet, its a Low Carb/High Fat Diet. I say Semi High Fat because I don't really like a lot of fatty foods.

On a typical day, my meals are:

Breakfast:
2 Egg Omelet w/ Cheddar Cheese & Spinach = 4 carbs
Coffee

Snack:
Celery w/ Cream Cheese or an Atkins Bar = 2 carbs

Lunch:
Atkins Shake or Weight Watchers Chicken Patty with Lettuce Wrap = 4-6 carbs

Snack:
Atkins Bar = 1-2 carbs

Dinner:
Salmon & Asparagus on Romaine Lettuce = 4-6 carbs

I am trying to keep my carb intake at 20 carbs a day. A few days ago, I went on a binge and ate a few things I wasn't supposed to... Luckily I didn't do too much damage on the scale and I am back on track!

Today I am down a total of 15lbs! It probably could have been more if it weren't for the little hiccup...

I am hoping to hit my goal by the end of the month! By the way its looking, I am almost positive I can do it!!!

Bikram Yoga...

Oh Yes!!!

I joined the band wagon and started Bikram Yoga!!!

My first class was on tuesday evening :) I was a little nervous since I hate summer heat and I would be walking into a 103 degree room to do yoga.. Right when I walked in, I was hit with the heat. It just about took my breath away. I started chugging my water and that made me feel better. I had already drank 4 liters that day and felt like I was dying from thirst..

During the class I would get distracted and not notice the heat. But when we would just sit or lay there, I would feel my heart pounding out of my chest. Luckily my soothing breathing calmed me down and I kept telling myself "Only 10 more minutes, you can do this!" "Only 5 more minutes, you have done it!!"

I am taking the one hour class instead of the 1 1/2 hour class so I can get a feel of everything. When I feel that I can handle the longer class, I will switch!

I also lost 1.9lbs just from one class!!

Heading out in 2 hours for my 2nd class :)

Back in action!

Well Ladies & Gents...

I'm Back!

I was released from the Phen Pill in march/april and even though I have been eating healthy and exercising, I have gained about 40lbs back.. Yuck!

I am really going to go all out since I am going to start my Surrogacy journey soon! I would like to be at a better weight when I start this journey!

So as of right now, I am cutting out everything I don't need!

Can't wait to get back to my weight loss!!!

3 weeks...

It has been way too long!!

First off, Thank you for all of  the sweet comments and Hello to my New Readers!!

These past few weeks have been.. eh.

My weight has stayed the same and nothing is making it budge. Starting Monday, I am doing a whole new routine with exercise and eating healthy.. I need to lose at least 30lbs by July. If you don't read my Family Blog, I am a New Scentsy Consultant :) Well the 2012 Scentsy Convention is in Las Vegas this year and I am going!! My Amazing Team and I already have our room booked!! So I want to be able to wear a bathing suit!

Anyways.. Here is what I look like today.. My camera isn't working, so I had to use my webcam. :)

Tuesday Weigh In: Week 19

Good Afternoon...

Wow, what a busy week!

I have been waiting for this day to come for the longest time.. I've been so close I could taste it..

Well this morning, I took a huge ass bite... Weighed in at:

168lbs..

If you have been keeping track, that is a

50lb weight loss!!!


Yes, I have finally hit 50lbs! It is so unbelievably surreal. I never thought I would have made it this far. It has been so worth the blood, sweat & tears. When I look in the mirror, I see a difference but not a 50lb difference. Don't get me wrong, I am so grateful for this weight loss. It's kind of hard to explain, but when you see yourself in the mirror everyday, its hard to notice a huge difference like others have. Sometimes I still see the big girl or just a lot of loose skin. I have been getting depressed lately because my skin is not bouncing back as fast as I would like it to.

I told myself that once I hit my Ultimate Goal, I will give myself one year to tone and get rid of my "Skin Apron." If I couldn't get rid of it, I am going to get a tummy tuck. I am also going to throw in some new boobies. I have noticed a huge difference in my breast size lately and need it fixed. My left breast is probably a Big C and my right is probably a Big B. They also feel deflated :(

Okay, enough whining!
